Trump's continued and severe dysfunction is a serious threat to the safety of our country. His mad ranting and raving put us all at risk. Republicans are so hyper-focused on ramrodding their extremist agenda through congress that they appear completely oblivious to the very real danger to all of us.

If you live around a country club that leans heavily to the right, you will recognize that Trump isn't an anomaly. Why do we have to continue inventing the wheel regarding his personality disorder? He is exactly like any number of white males who find they can subjugate people who have been indoctrinated by religion or military over-discipline to recognize an authoritative figure without questioning that figure's authority. Anyone who is smart enough to see through their lies and con jobs will be turned into an example. The more they can instill fear in people, the more they control them.

That is the source of white privilege. Start at the top and work you way down to the wannabes.

and he's not strong enough to straighten out his thinking. Otherwise he'd be cooler and more deadly.

And it's definitely a two-part equation: a pseudo-authoritarian blowhard commanding a flock of servile minions, all of whom no doubt declare themselves to be fiercely independent thinkers even as they prostrate themselves before their beloved leader.

And, rugged individualist, they're not. These people cannot succeed without the benefit of their networks and those bonds are cultivated by private conversations that are meant to hamstring everyone else.

Not much different than the scenario we're dealing with today in the White House with Trump's swamp cabinet.
