Still think Trump/Bannon punked everyone on Sat

Trump and Bannon sitting around pooping their pants over Russia...

Trump: "Steve, I am scared shitless. They are getting closer on this Russian thing. How do we find out if Trump Tower was bugged?"

Bannon: "I got it ! We print a fake story in Breitbart that it was bugged"

Trump: "YA ! And I get OUTRAGED ! "

Bannon: "Yes, and you could even blame Obama ! He will take the bait and say NO WAY and other agencies will back it up and sing like birds. Whatever happens, at least we will know! "

Trump: "Heeeee. It's brilliant, Steve. So glad I have you around ! "

Team Trump's plan was to take the heat off the Russian thing by having POTUS look like an outright, unhinged fool.

Be a gutsy plan, but I'm not sure about its effectiveness.

Trump impusively tweets things like this to make HIM the focus of attention...particularly on weekends when there won't be a lot of news.

Now, their dimwit bimbos are going on about how they don't believe Comey

... forcing Comey to go on TV and blow President Orange Orangutan out of his jungle of stupidity.

A heck of a strategy Bannon has going there ...
... no matter where you project this going, it's not good for them. I don't see how questioning the word of the Director of the FBI is going to help them when they're basing their allegations on stupid alt right conspiracy theorists who have no evidence beyond serious mental illnesses the President of the United States relates to.

riled him up knowing he would blow his stack.

Let's just assume that where there is smoke like this, there is fire. Surely those involved are scared that people will find out what was said in the inner circle.

Bottom line - after all the crazy - they are left knowing that they have nothing to worry about - as far as conversations in TT. Because all parties who would have been involved in a bugging have firmly denied.
If they didn't plan this - it worked out perfectly for them.

The President has been challenged by the FBI Director. News outlets are questioning the "stability" of Trump himself.

illegally.

I don't know, of course, how this happened - but you have to admit - there's
something very fishy about it.

We don't really know how Breitbart, Trump, and Bannon are interacting. Does Breitbart
just publish bs on their own without Bannon knowing? Why did Breitbart publish this ubsubstantiated story? Only to get the heat off? To get their base riled?

Maybe it's Bannon that's happy. Looks like others are trying to retract and get it on the record what they really meant/said - i.e. Gordon. Why not Bannon? What if he knew he had said incriminating stuff? And, he knows how to push the right buttons with Trump? Trump flew him down to FL on Sunday.

Suppose TT is bugged. Given what I know about FISA (granted, it isn't much) I would assume there is a very good reason to do so. In the face of these accusations, wouldn't the intelligence service lie and say that it isn't, when it is?

There's no master plan, no method to his madness. This is a bona-fide Birther we're talking about here - - a man who genuinely believes millions of undocumented immigrants voted for HRC on November 8th.

Trump read a propaganda piece on Breitbart and immediately parroted it on twitter. He makes gaffes like this ALL THE TIME - - the Sweden attack he saw on Fox being a recent example.

Trump really is this stupid. Seriously.

A. Change the subject,
B. Rile up base/dumbass readership
C. See if TT bugged?
