the EPA, the Education Dept., the sell off of public lands, taxes down to almost nothing, everyone who is not white kicked out of the country (at least as many as possible), the end of Unions, just to name a few of their aims.
If they can keep the donald in office long enough to get him to sign the legislation they can get passed before he totally goes off the rails (which in my estimation he has already done) they will accomplished sending us back to 1900.

The New Deal and compassion, science, thought or anything of virtue. It has to do with greed, consumption, taking advantage of the other guy to make more money. It's always been this way, they finally found a bastard in Trump that is happy to go all the way.

patriots. They only care about themselves and keeping power. They will turn against Trump only if he becomes unpopular enough with their idiot base that he is not of any use to them and is a drag on their re election chances. Hopefully this will happen before Trump causes irreparable damage to our country and/or the world.

They really hate us, people need to understand that.

A Russian leader that kills his own people, shoots down a plane with innocent civilians, they don't hate him. Why because he hates the same things they do, people of color, gays, liberals.

As a white male they sometimes drop their guard around me and become shocked when they find out I am not one of them.

They don't even seem to pretend to care. There is a plantation mentality run amok in the Republican Party.

They want a strongman who will let them exploit others nd tell them it is god's will. The degeneration of the Republican Party is one of the sad realities of the last 50 years. Nixon's curse upon them for impeachment?

The civil rights movement drove the Dixiecrat racists out of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party put out the welcome mat.

Until Reagan the party had some redeeming characteristics but it has been all downhill since.

The Ayn Rand worshippers are legion. Her books are basically romance novels for adolescent boys. Tillerson, Ryan, Paul, and I don't know how many others were all fans.

Chaffetz and Nunes are are like mad crazed dogs gnawing on the imaginary scandal-bones of their "enemies."

The ayatollahs, the the bullies, the opportunists, the know-nothings, they hypocrites, the knowledge-haters, the pompous asses,,,,,,......

The few who seem sane , ethical or moral-well I have to wonder why they continue to associate themselves.

they see themselves as the last line of defense for the "Grand Ol' USA" They believe that standing up for the country is actually standing up to liberals and Obama, Pelosi, etc. There are many people that think all of this is the liberals refusing to give up power and trying to bring down Trump. once you understand that, you will begin to understand why no investigations are coming. only way that happens, is a smoking gun emerges or the polls turn against them.

Remember how they condemned tRump's statements but never condemned him?

The Republicons have sold out the country for personal political power and ultimate financial gain.

They are in it too deep now to back out, especially now that the coverup is expanding at the same time it is unraveling. Senator Nunes has been drawn in by dragging his feet on investigating the Russian Scandal and is becoming ensnared in the coverup.

It is looking a little more likely that the Trump organization sold out for $11 billion worth of Rosneft shares (19.5% of the company):
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028753219

What do they stand to gain by letting the freak stay in power?

Bannon: White supremacy and end-times eschatology.

Pence: Power via replacing tRump as President.

McCONnell: Wife already got a plush appointment (Chao). Power. Avoiding jail.

Ryan: Ayn Randian remake of government. Power now. Presidential run in 2024. Avoiding jail.

tRump: Money, fame, narcissistic glory. Avoiding ignominy and jail.
