I met family for lunch in closest big city to me, first time in a long time. They wanted to go to the half-price book store afterward, so I tagged along. It was the first time in several years I had stepped into one.
Naturally, I gravitated toward certain subjects- The Civil War had it's own section, History, Politics etc. Let's just say I was not surprised to find that Glenn Beck, for example, had a lot of books on the shelf. As in, a lot of each of his books. Apparently no one is buying them? You don't say.
Oh, and they had a lot of law books there, too. I wish I knew which ones might be worth having, because I might have bought a few. I actually did pick out a couple of titles from the Civil War section, and a few others. Spent $45 in all.
But seriously, I LMAO at all those Beck books. His was the only name I think that was that way. Al Franken's only had two on the shelf.

(20,219 posts)for folks who have too many empty bookshelves and will fill them with anything. His will be right next to "Fifty Shades of Grey".

(624 posts)I was there, I might have bought them up to use as firestarter. Sadly, those books were $3 and up now, for everything.
