How many of Nixon's associates were able to get the stink of Nixon off them and continue a career in politics after he resigned in shame ?
I can think of only two who had political careers after Nixon: Alexander Haig and Henry Kissinger.

The more I think of it the more I remember it started as a conventional Republican administration.

I see him and his associates as more of a crime family than a political entity. He's Tony Soprano is a poorly fitted suit.
