Golf Course In Mexico City Just As Challenging As TRUMP Doral In A Different Way.

Will be no great loss if the PGA decides to hold this even permanently in Mexico City. The pros and the crowds seem to blend well. And it IS A GREAT ADDITION to Mexico City and will bring in much needed revenue. Secondly the rough is different and is more demanding. Thirdly the trees are a real challenge and the course if a lot tighter like old style courses. So brute power is less important. Certainly you can shoot low scores, but get in the weeds and there is deep trouble. Plus the 7800 foot altitude has the ball flying 15% to 20% farther making it problematic determining distance. Pros have to play golf more the old style way and not just depend on brute force.

DORAL WILL NOT BE MISSED if this course works out.
