It's Time To Force the GOPers To Take A Side

After this morning's tweet meltdown and subsequent media headlines basically clearing Obama of all of Trump's "wire tapping" accusations, I'd argue it's time we make our elected officials - especially the Republican ones - take a side on this Russia issue.

Either they are in for an investigation or not. It's time to get this rolling and it needs to happen sooner rather than later. By and large, the GOP has been "wait and see" on this, waiting for the Russia mess to die down. It isn't going away.

We need to tie the Russia scandal around the neck of every Republican who refuses to step up and demand a special prosecutor. We need a full, comprehensive investigation. We need some elected Republicans to help with this. For those who want to be on the wrong side of history, fine. Then they need to be painted as traitors during the 2018 midterms and in a relentless way. We're out of time for being nice here.

Forcing the hand of representatives can happen via phone calls, letters and town hall appearances. But now this needs to be top of mind discussion all day, every day.

Does anyone else have any ideas to force the investigation? Public outcry really does work. This needs to become an elected Dem talking point, too. Just relentless in every interview: "special prosecutor, special prosecutor, special prosecutor." In the marketing world, brand recognition is all about repetition. So that's what the DNC needs to force.

3. Repukes need to be painted as the traitors they are in 2017!

Democrats ought to get on the talk shows and relentlessly hammer the repukes who are concealing the obvious ties to the Kremlin of the Canteloupe Caligula without apology and ad nauseum.

No more Mr. Nice Guys or Madame Nice Girls. Keep repeating that repukes are traitors until hell freezes over and the American people (except for hardcore Trumpanzees) get the message that they're dealing with folks who've betrayed our country.

I'd like to see Dems repeat this TRUTH over and over:

Antony BlinkenVerified account
@ABlinken
"Trump not smart to spotlight wiretap. Requires warrant which requires probable cause crime committed or target foreign agent. Which is it?"

Keep the DOUBT out there. This is what Trump did constantly with the repetitive bullshit of "Crooked Hillary!" and "WikiLeaks."

Trump is a moron and he brought this wiretap business on himself. Now the Dems should use it.

Tom Perez and Keith Ellison are brilliant lawyers. I hope they are thinking this way too. I sure wish I had a line of communication to them. I'm going to write Perez a letter. Who knows if it will help but I'm sick of feeling powerless.

Trump as more incriminating information come out on him. Democrats must use very clear,easy to understand words and phrases, sometimes our side use fucking cloudy language, like Ben Rhodes did when responding to Trump's rediculous claim about Obama ordering wiretaps. Trump's language was direct and simple, Rhodes' response was garbled, Rhodes should have simply said that Obama could not order wiretaps because laws prevented him from doing so and Obama respects the law, unlike Trump.
