Trump complaining about the phone(s) at Trump tower being tapped, shortly after it was suggested that the FBI had proof of the Trump Campaign colluding with the Russians, proves that the story is true. I do not think he would be making a big deal about this phone tapping if the FBI did not have proof of wrong doing on those tapes.

That includes calls made within the US. It is the connection with foreign actors that enables their listening. They are prohibited, though, from monitoring calls between Americans. That's the FBI's job, and they can do it with the appropriate warrants.

What exactly has been listened to is highly classified, and the contents of what was heard has an even higher classification. It's not something that is going to be released right away, at least not officially. Leaked? Well, that's another matter.

6. I believe they said that the White House never ordered any wiretaps on U.S. citizens.

That does not apply to wiretaps conducted by the FBI (which routinely conducts court-sanctioned wiretaps targets of criminal investigations), nor would it apply to FISA wiretaps of foreign powers.

So while it is obvious that Obama did not "order" any such wiretap, that doesn't mean there was no such wiretap (and it does not mean there isn't a tape). We just don't know.
