Some vets call foul on Trump for wearing flight jacket, admiral's cap

President Trump on Thursday donned a flight jacket and an admiral's cap with the words "USS Gerald R. Ford" on it — and some on social media are calling foul.

He wore the items while touring the aircraft carrier that will soon be known as the USS Gerald R. Ford and addressing the crew.
He received the jacket and hat — which was personalized with the words "POTUS 45" on the back — from the crew.

"They said, 'Here Mr. President, take this home.' I said, 'Let me wear it,'" Trump said during his address, drawing laughter from the crowd. "And then they gave me the beautiful hat, and I said, 'You know? Maybe I'll do that.' "

He continued, "We have a great 'Make America Great Again' hat, but I said, 'This is a special day, we're wearing this.' "

and they love his bullshit even though it is nothing but gas. The grunts seem to eat it up, the generals, not so much. When the camera flashed on the Joint Chiefs during that speech, they didn't look like a happy bunch of men.

wear any of that. Not surprisingly, he failed the Commander in Chief test miserably, getting a SEAL killed during a rushed, half-assed raid that he ordered as casually as one of his tacky, overpriced "Donald Trump's Shitty Iceberg Lettuce Wedge Dripping in Bleu Cheese Dressing."

And then when the mission went bad, he blamed "them", the generals. A worthy CIC would NEVER, EVER do that. Dolt 45* is a disgrace and an insult to the country.

Like many "senators' sons," he used phony service in the military to build his resume in safety while others went to Vietnam.

We paid for flight training so he could have fun playing with jets. Perhaps if there were an alien invasion he might actually have used one in combat, but extremely unlikely even then.

***People who signed up to expecting to serve their country had their service dishonored by requiring them to provide services to phonies doing "senators' sons" self-service.***

He went AWOL when it no longer suited him, and nobody bothered to bring him back. Because the military needed him like it needed...well, him.

As for those guys on the carrier with 45, you can bet many were disgusted. They have my sympathies.

He was in Midway and I think Okinawa. Not so sure because he died when I was only 11 years old. He never bragged about anything and didn't even want to talk about it as much as I badgered him with questions.
He never was an Admiral or anything but I do remember him telling me how his ship was hit by Kamikazes 3 times.

Trump is a fucking wimp ass lying fraud who doesn't deserve an ounce of respect from these guys.
