We had a price drop drop 2 years ago. Last year was an increase. This years scheduled is a BIG increase. They blamed bad storms resulting from climate change.
We will be looking around next week.

In 11 years mine went from $535.00 per year to $1,297.00 per year.
A $200.00 increase in 1 year.
A $247.00 increase the following year.

We up to over 2500 a year, no claims in over 15 years. Also our electric is insane.
So, we sold the home last week. I'm tired to being ripped off, got to be another way to live.
Moving out of state, if a hurricane hits,this trump loving state is screwed. Couldn't be happier.

our agent told us too that with all the flooding, etc our rate went up to cover costs. We immediately found an independent insurance agent and a different company. Our previous company was Framers..... oh yah find someone else.
