Has anyone else noticed Chris Matthews losing words and getting lost lately?

I'm not assuming anything but it seems the past couple of months he struggles to find nouns and names and to express things like he didn't before. Has it been that way and I'm just now noticing? I know he has a talk-over-you style and talks a LOT. Maybe it's a function of having so much flying around.

Just curious if it's just me.

However, he is also like that when he's tired. He seems to be on the air a lot lately, and this administration exhausts me, so I can only imagine how it affects people who have to cover it.

Greta has the same problem. Their brains either works faster than their mouths, or vice versa. I'm not sure which.

As we used to say, "He got his tongue wrapped around his eye teeth and couldn't see what he was saying."

and I noticed Andrea Mitchell was having the same problem today. Of course, she was on late last night, so it just might be lack of sleep.

He goes through "excuses" phase where he tries to find appealing traits in evil people, can't stand that.

pausing for a second or two, then interrupts his guest and talks over them. As he does it all of the, it makes me think he has some issues.
