Yeah, he lied about the affair, and that's dodgy when you're the Minister for Was and Soviet spies are involved; but after resigning as a minister and MP, he worked for a charity for decades, literally starting by cleaning the toilets, and going on to be chief fundraiser: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Profumo#Later_life
