Sessions lied to Senators about Russian contacts

if he lied, you must not let it slide

Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) spoke twice last year with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Justice Department officials said, encounters he did not disclose when asked about possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow during Sessions’s confirmation hearing to become attorney general.

But she and other Sessions' Justice staffers are downplaying the meetings, saying that meetings weren't about campaign and that Sessions didn't really remember much about what was discussed.

That is why Al Franken said Sessions failure to disclose those meetings was "misleading at best" since Sessions should have at least told the Senate that he had met with Kislyak and then Sessions should have explained whether or not the campaign had been discussed in those meetings with Kislak

As an attorney, he should have done a better job answering questions asked by the confirmation committee.

....Sessions spoke as a Senator, which he still was. Not as a 45 campaign spokesman.

He'll skate.

Holy Shit! This blows all of the denials by Reince Priebus lies and those of other lying Republicans out of the water.

They all knew. This disastrous republican treason field just keeps getting wider and wider.
