Trump must have known that this story was coming out - that's why he started slamming Pres Obama and his people of being the source of the White House leaks...

didn't know. No way Bannon, Conway, or even the Mercers didn't know. I think Ryan and McConnell knew.

Even if Pence didn't know prior to accepting the VP nomination, he damn sure got wind of it during the campaign. No way they kept that from him.

....that he was still a Senator. He can say he spoke as a Senator and not as a campaign operative.

These guys are slick about how to use process to cover up, while looking pure.
