(former 40+ year anchor/reporter) exclaimed today that Drumpf "finally made the pivot".

I.e., they have been chomping at the bits and fucking willing to give him a pass for [font size="5"]5 weeks[/font] until he was finally able to read a speech (mostly off the one teleprompter that faced the GOP side of the chamber) without going off script. And once he made it through that very difficult and complex milestone, they are celebrating.
