Roberts Decision Was A Stunning Surprise Now He Is Public Enemy Number One.
If you had a bookie and were betting on Roberts to make this decision you could have been a millionaire. His decision was like being struck by lightning. Now the conservative favorite has NO friends. Or perhaps his new friends are progressives?
All you have to do is disagree with a conservative only one time and they will just about slay you literally. Roberts better watch out for all the "voodoo" dolls or being hung in effigy by the right. They will hate you and haunt you forever. And they will vilify you until you are planted. Now we have an activist court court in their eyes because this decision did not go their way. Virtually all the other decisions have gone their way.
No one could have predicted this outcome. If anyone had said that Roberts would make this decision it would have been put on the straight jacket. Kennedy was thought to be the key vote all along yet he sided with the neonazi part of the court.
This decision just shows us how wide a chasm there is in this country. We seem to be divided as during the Civil War literally. And we may never heal the differences in a generation. Now the vitriol and the hate will flow like the blood in Syria. The battle has now just begun and the GOP probably won't quit until it literally does draw political blood. From the anger and vitriol that I see today I believe we will see venom like this country has never seen before. Hate radio will be broadcasting on steroids. The little devils will be out in force.
