The natural (as least for most of us) desire to reach out and comfort another human being in pain...no matter who they are or why the pain.

Maybe Ivanka was too caught up in realizing that her dad killed this woman's husband through his need for a wag the dog spectacle.

The difference was stark. I felt badly for Mrs. Owens, and not just for her loss.
