WAY too many in the media have either dismissed Trump or normalized him.

Far too few have represented him for the real danger he is.

3. The media scam

I once watched MSNBC and CNN - before Trump.

The 24 hour media puts profit before responsible and quality journalism.

Trump gave them high ratings while they only had to analyze his brutish and juvenile antics. Why examine issues and what is best for America when Trump's insults gave high ratings with no need for real journalism?

The idea that quality journalism is the primary goal was not there - except for Rachel Maddow and a few others.

Why examine the real dangers in America when constantly talking about terrorist and showing the pictures is good for ratings and is profitable? And never discuss how providing publicity for terrorist attacks encourages more terrorism. Terrorism is good for ratings and profit. The more America fears terrorism, the higher the ratings with no need for real journalism.

BTW, in 2016, more Americans were killed by children with guns than foreign terrorists.

The media is greedy and lazy. Kind of explains how Trump can claim dishonest media so easily.

The media is seemingly doing better since the catastrophic election of ClusterTrump. Is it quality journalism or just better for ratings?
