Schumer: ‘Ask Mitt Romney’ If Health Care Mandate Is A Tax
After the Supreme Court validated the ‘Obamacare’ individual mandate under Congress’s power to tax, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was asked by reporters Thursday if he believes the provision is a tax.

Sen. Schumer says, “Does Speaker Boehner wanna tell senior citizens that we’re not gonna fill the donut hole and help pay for their prescription drugs? Does Speaker Boehner wanna tell kids out of college who can’t afford healthcare can no longer be a part of their parents plan? And does Speaker Boehner wanna give free reign to insurance companies so they can charge huge amounts for non-medical costs?”… The American people sure don’t.”
