My daffodils are about to pop out; they are on the north (cooler) side of the house.

Nice to have a nice day; not so nice to think about July & August.

Last weeks feet of snow are going almost as fast as they came. I can actually see grass in my yard. Just a little, but I'll take it!

I'm hoping enough snow melts so I can get to my little greenhouse and check on lettuce I planted in the fall.

How have I never thought of that?! It's brilliant!

If your forecast is anything like ours, you'll be at your greenhouse in no time. 😀

We go to Westmoreland every summer to visit friends. I just love it over there.

I'd love to hear how it works out. I've failed at lettuce repeatedly. Too bitter. Planting in fall seems like the perfect way to avoid that.

What wasn't normal was the bad storms last month and this month, they are "usually" March-april events..

The weather down here in the South is supposed to be:
Feb-April is tornado season
June to Nov is hurricane season
dec thru Feb is winter, and then it warms up

The daffodils are growing, but I haven't seen a bloom yet.

Very little winter this winter.

...my wife told me they were blooming, and I had to see for myself.

Sure enough, the minis, it looks like, are doing their thing. It must be a real hardy variety, or maybe the leaves I keep in place gave them enough protection.
