Undocumented woman with brain tumor removed from hospital by ICE

An undocumented woman in desperate need of brain surgery has been forcibly removed from a Texas hospital — and her relatives in New York fear she could lose her life, a family representative said early Thursday...

Earlier this month, Beltran-Hernandez, 26, began complaining about severe headaches, nosebleeds and memory loss. Last week, she collapsed and was subsequently taken to a hospital. Doctors diagnosed her with a brain tumor and determined that she needed surgery.

But Zuniga told The News that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents forcibly removed Beltran-Hernandez from the Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth on Wednesday evening.

"They had her tied up from hands and ankles," Zuniga said. "She was brought in a wheelchair and is not being given treatment even though her nose continues to bleed and she has told them her head is exploding."

This is appaling and disgusting.

A feel a giant lawsuit is appropriate.

Hope the poor woman survives.

Shameful authorities.

Individuals must take a moral stand against such barbarity.

Obeying such orders is not good enough.

I'd say it was a matter of degree, but the mindset is the same. The same with prison guards that deny needed medication or medical attention to prisoners. Fucking Nazis, the lot of them.

How long do they think it will take for people to just start ignoring them?

Oh you're from ICE, in my hospital looking for so-and-so?
Ain't nobody here by that name. Now git.

verifying before publishing their findings.

If true, this is a dreadful sign--but it was one that was being watched for with great concern. Memos issued the other day from the executive branch did NOT include the existing instruction for avoiding picking people up in schools, churches and hospitals. And when necessary doing it delicately. Removing anyone who needs to be in a hospital of course does not qualify.

Conservatives have turned the White House and Congress over to fascistic thugs. And many state governments as well.
