All these headlines, bluster, etc. make his Trumpeestas thrilled. From articles I've read there's no way Congress will be able to come up with $100 to $300 billion to make 11 million immigrants go away. You will see lots of pictures of roundups for awhile, crying immigrants, etc. Then Trump can say "See told you I would do this" to his fucked up flock of morons.
In the meantime economic hardship, more fed money drained, and amazing sadness/anger/fear among immigrants will be felt.
Another angle will also be that numerous Republican Reps and Senators from Arizona, Texas, Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Illinois, etc. will be bombarded by the major farming companies, manufacturers, etc. These major businesses probably funded a lot of their campaigns. Just wait until their low-wage work force starts being deported. Imagine those phone calls? You don't want to fuck with the businesses that put you into office.

Start with asset forfeiture and seizure of any business or home caught employing our housing illegally and mandatory minimum prison sentences for business owners and others who hire and house illegally.
Treat it like the drug war.
I don't necessarily support this suddenly but as a gradual and comprehensive immigration reform bill I would.
If our government was serious this is what they'd do but they are not and instead are looking to expand their bureaucracies and power.
