But honestly, if you’re looking at trends and troubling trends, crime and illegal immigration are not among the most troubling trends we have.”

“Maybe for you, because you haven’t talked to families who have been victimized,” Babeu shot back.

“No, I’m talking about data. I’m talking about truth. I’m talking about what is actually happening!” Reich parried.

“You’re a professor,” Babeu sneered.

“Why don’t you look at the data?” Reich exclaimed. “Why do you have to live in a fact free world?”

Yeah! You're a professor! What could you possibly know with all your book-learning and theories and "data". I have that one anecdote that supports my case! I saw it with my own eyes! All you have is some numbers on a sheet of paper!



In other news, people still believe they will be a celebrity one day or get rich one day, because that one person in a million got lucky and is shown on TV all the time.
Except that the 999,999 people who will never be a celebrity and will never be rich don't make it on TV and therefore do not exist.
