(82,849 posts)We should be encouraging voter dissatisfaction with our elected officials. But let's not take for granted that because they don't like their Republican overlords that they'll naturally gravitate to the Democratic side. We need alternatives, alternatives that work, alternatives that are in line with the party's platform. Then get that message out, relentlessly. It's not enough to say it once or twice, we need to have people saying it over and over so that it penetrates the public consciousness. Republicans sound like robots, but their message eventually gets adopted because people hear it all the time. We can take that page from their playbook and use it to our advantage.
