Who paid for Trump's rally in Melbourne?

I read with interest the essay by the Minister who went to the 'event' in Melbourne, FL.

The one sentence that jumped out at me was: "I found it odd that the tickets indicated that this was not a government/White House event & that this was a campaign event."

If this was a campaign event, the what I want to know is, Who Paid? When the President travels, if it is on official business, then the taxpayers pay for the cost of the trip. But when the President travels for the purpose of campaigning, whether for himself or to campaign for someone else, the the cost of travel is on him. So, again, my question is, who paid for the trip to Melbourne?

Think of it this way (and argue it at every opportunity):

Thanks to Donnie, it's already election season. And as the Republicans have unwaveringly claimed for the last year and a half, no Supreme Court justices can be seated, nay, even considered, until the election is done and the people have made their will known.

They'll flip-flop, of course, because IOKIYAR, but always throw it in their faces.

16. Well, we cannot let him pick a Supreme Court Justice during his final year in office, can we?

As it is his final year, we may as well save the seat until after the election. I want our Senators to say shit like that.

14. Technically, any plane the president is on is Air Force One..

It's a call sign, not the name of the plane(s).

Given that, I'd just as soon prefer that it not be used for Kremlin Don's Fake Versailles In The Sky.

... uses Air Force One for campaign (or other private) events, the government is reimbursed with the amount it would have cost to hire a private plane to carry all the passengers.

Does anyone know for sure?
