Suddenly they felt like their views were actually respected and in the majority.

But less than one month into Trump’s term, many of his supporters say they once again feel under attack — perhaps even more so than before.

I think we are seeing the flaws in our constitution. A renegade President, supported by his own party in both houses, and no Truth in Media laws, can destroy this country. And don't expect McCain to ride in on his white horse and save our democracy: he has voted with Trump 94% of the time. He talks a great game, but puts party before country.
I do think that we are headed to two separate countries or federations; we are already in a cold civil war. The blue states will band together to value healthcare for all, education, ingenuity, healthy environments, energy independence. The red states will put God in schools, no healthcare, no money in education, guns for all, and Jesus in every household. There should be a time to allow those who want to move to the other group of states time to immigrate.
