I was hoping to post a few comments from regretful Trump voters, but they're pretty much in agreement...they loved it, so I'd just end up violating the "don't spread Republican talking points" rule.

The most amusing concept to come out was someone bemoaning the tone, they liked what he said but hated the fact that he had to resort to that tone, but he baited the reporters and they took the bait and ZING, it's #MAGA time.

Something like that.

And realize, the Republican-led House is treating him the same way.

Regan was an actor, until he became a God. Trump was a reality show buffoon and a crook until...well.

3. It took 1.5 W administrations for "normal"

conservatives to admit he was an idiot/loser--in some ways, (i.e., years), and 1.9 administrations for all but a fanatic 15% or so to turn on him, and then it was only because they saw him as a LOSER.

Trump may be burning his candle at both ends, in the middle, and tossing the matches at those gold curtains, but these people aren't going to admit they backed a "loser" any time soon.
