The idea that the president of the United States is refusing to address questions about massive infiltration of his gov. and his campaign with associates and aides in "constant contact" with Russia, trying to blame the "fake media" for the firing/resignation of Flynn, NOT EVEN MENTIONING the news that Russia has a spy ship,Viktor Leonov (I need to doublecheck spelling), off the east coast of the US -- a huge issue and obvious violation but Trump admin says nothing (but of course mentions Iran again), shuts down real questions at awkward press conference...(only questions to Trump were from the Christian broadcasting network and townhall.com -- both obviously far-right Trumpets)
Trump's campaign was engaged in acts that may well have been illegal and TREASONOUS and this man REFUSES TO EVEN ANSWER QUESTIONS. THEY JUST ESCORTED PRESS OUT OF THE STAGED "photo op" with Trump and Bibi and the wives as the press was shouting questions. Trump is behaving as though he is king. He seems to think that by ignoring questions and Russia issue that it will just go away...while Russia apparently takes over our country by running the officials at the top of Trump's government.
CNN is saying that contact was so severe and so extensive that everyone in the intelligence community was "alarmed." Folks, this is such a stunning betrayal of the American people, and the fact that this man isn't in handcuffs is sickening.

(5,611 posts)And they are stating that an investigation is happening in the Senate (and also of course the ongoing DOJ investigation), and that it will be determined if illegal activity happened. I have no idea what Wilson's info is based on but CNN has sources in the intel community and the Pentagon, and they are not saying that this is "overheated." The implications are obviously huge, and Trump's bizarre, detached behavior, refusing to ever say anything unpleasant about his hero Putin, is rather extraordinary for a president of the United States.
Seriously, the fact that Flynn is likely facing Federal charges for lying to an FBI agent about the contents of his infamous phone call, and that the Trump campaign had CONSTANT contact with Russia during the campaign that the Russian gov was actively destabilizing, is huge news in itself.
