Let's think about all this for a minute.....

Last edited Wed Feb 15, 2017, 08:46 AM - Edit history (1)

We have the National Security Advisor to the pResident, Flynn -- caught in bed with the Russians!
Probably telling Putin's people in December that Obama Administration sanctions against Russia would soon be lifted.

We have the Secretary of ExxonMobil/State, Tillerson -- clearly in bed with the Russians.
ExxonMobil recently signed major lease agreements with Russia to develop oil & gas leases in Russia, agreements worth Billions(!) of dollars.

We had tRump's former campaign manager -- in bed with the Russians. In fact, it's coming out now that several of tRump's campaign staff had repeated contact with the Russians during the campaign.

We had Putin/Russia hacking our elections to help tRump, because a) Hillary was mean to Putin for violating human rights of Russians; b) Hillary/Obama applied sanctions against Russia for seizing the Crimea in order to facilitate delivery of oil and gas via the Black Sea; and c) tRump would be a useful tool.

Recently, Rosneft, the Russian state oil & gas giant (controlled by Putin--Rosneft doesn't sneeze without Putin's knowledge/permission) sold a huge stake in itself to a secret investor group through a Cayman Islands shell corporation that hides the identity of its owners. This occurs at about the same time that Flynn is stroking the Russians regarding the lifting of sanctions.

In all of this there are Billions of dollars--possibly trillions of dollars at stake. Putin himself could emerge from all this as one of the wealthiest men in the world.

Does anybody NOT think that tRump himself is in bed with the Russians?? I think that someone who DOESN'T believe tRump is in on all this is either a) GALACTICALLY stupid, b) on heavy psychotropic drugs, c) willfully ignorant or in denial, d) dead, or e) some combination of these.

Thoughts, DU?

So he's already one of the wealthiest individuals in the world, if not the wealthiest

Now he's trying to be the most wealthy in liquid assets, and going to attempt an empire (Ukraine, and onward) eventually perhaps trying to be what? emperor of the galaxy? ( who knows?)

But yes, you have it all there. They're all in bed with Russia and it has been so freaking obvious to most of us for the better part of a year, that watching this info being relayed breathlessly by reporters is a teency bit frustrating (and yet still gratifying for the most part).

And I agree that Trump is in bed with Russia. @Sarah Kendzior - a political writer with expertise on Russia has published many articles on twitter about Don the Con being prepped by Russia since the late 90's.

The whole lot of them from Putin to Trump to their assorted minions are nothing more or less than gangsters looking for the next grift. It is sickening that people are hand-wringing this and wondering if there is a deeper connection.

I will save everyone the time....Trump is in debt up to his eyeballs to Russian gangsters because legitimate banks run from him like Republicans from an Ebola outbreak. They had him by the short and curlies as far back as the 2008 recession and have cultivated him as a Manchurian Candidate ever since.

The campaign was rigged.
The election was NOT on the level.
The administration IS completely compromised.

This is going to blow up into the worst scandal EVER. The sovereignty of the United States has been sold. The entire administration must be cleared out of office, even if that means we suffer under "President" Ryan for a year until a new election can be organized and held....or if need be, Ryan holds the office until 2020 and then we clean house.

There should be talk of potential executions for treason and espionage for these scumbags and Trump should roast for all of his sins...

There can be no question that you hit the nail on the head. Russia is basically in control of the US Government right now and denying it to protect their party makes all Republicans an accomplice in the ultimate betrayal of America whether they think so or not.
We are seeing that there is no such animal as an actually patriotic Republican. This includes Ryan, McConnell, Chafetz and the whole lot of them. Yes, I dare say McCain because he knows a lot more than he is letting on or willing to admit. This is serious shit and needs to be dealt with as such.

We don't have the army or the firepower to do anything direct and immediate, but we do have the people. Dems have to stall as much damage as possible and run the most grueling, vicious and aggressive campaign imaginable to take our country back with a landslide election in 2018. There has to be blunt talk and no pulling punches. Call them what they are. Point out the facts and let the voters know there very existence as a country is at stake.

It's our only chance.
