How do we put pressure on Republicans to have a real investigation?

Yes; I know they control everything, but collectively and individually, the care deeply about public option. How do we sway them?

that the reelection rate is 96 percent. Compare that to an overall congressional approval level of 11 percent.

2. I'd write/call them to demand an independent investigation

Don't expect that you'll be able to single-handedly convince them. The idea is to be part of the strawpile that breaks the camel's back.

5. Boycott Exxon. It is easier to do and will get more people on board and get a bigger response.

When Exxon realizes that it is losing money from the treason it brokered, it will drop Trump-Pence.

6. OK...I never buy gas at Exxon or go to their convenience stores.

The downside is Exxon is probably involved in other petro products....I'm guessing jet fuel....Kinda hard to tell which fuel an airline uses.
