I just noticed these ads today, clearly aimed at conning Dems into believing Gorsuch is their kinda guy. See, the nice young woman that claims she once worked for Obama, says it true, nothing to see here... move along.
"I don't think folks on the left should be concerned about Judge Gorsuch becoming a Supreme Court justice," Jane Nitze, one of his former law clerks on the federal appeals court, says in the JCN-sponsored ad, titled "Jane."

As pleasant piano music plays in the background, photos from Gorsuch's White House introduction Tuesday appear onscreen. Nitze continues, saying Gorsuch "will approach each case the same, regardless of the issues or the parties before him."
Then, she delivers the kicker: "I worked for the Obama administration" and "I have to say, I am 100 percent comfortable with Judge Gorsuch becoming the next Supreme Court justice."

(15,805 posts)Judicial Crisis Network dropped $2 million on a national ad to get Gorsuch on the Supreme Court, so they must think they can persuade Dems just by mentioning she once worked for Obama.
The advertisement comes as Democrats are hunkering down in preparation for a drawn-out confirmation fight. The Nitze spot certainly won't turn the debate. But it should at least disabuse Democrats from mistakenly thinking Gorsuch is some sort of judicial extremist."

which has thousands of lawyers. There is not a party loyalty test to work there. She misleads by making it sound as if she worked in the White House and knew President Obama personally. She failed to mention she worked for Judge Gorsuch.
This is why people are cynical.

(1 post)... technically, Nitze's clerkship for Gorsuch was listed under her name at the beginning of the ad.
