Presidential Vacation Days

Last edited Fri Feb 10, 2017, 06:01 PM - Edit history (1)

Soooo 45* is heading to Mar-A-Lago, again. He's been president for 3 weeks and has gone to this place every weekend. Figure time at that joint + prep and travel time and he's probably working a 5 day work week and is on his way to racking up a whole heck of a lot of vacation time while driving America head first off a cliff.

I may be mistaken but wasn't excessive vacationing a BIG problem for the last administration? I mean boy oh boy Obama spent more time on vacation than he did in the Oval Office. Obama was such a slacker during his 8 years in office it's amazing America even survived. I mean what else did he do other than get us back on the right track after ?43-A? and ?43-B? made such a mess. Yea other than that little bit of whatever Obama managed to accomplish nothing .

Since Obama had the fewest vacation days of the recent presidents and was raked over the coals. I'm thinking 45* is going to need to roll back these weekly Mar- A -Lago visits to not draw the ire of the Republican voter block....... LMAO,yea right. He may as well just go on vacation and never come back. His voters won't say a word and as a byproduct the government will probably run better.

If he's on vacation he's less likely to fuck things up.

The real president will still be hanging around the WH figuring out shady stuff for 45* to do once he gets back.

That is an awesome way to look at it - and not for me to say that you are wrong, for sure.
Then again, look at 43 - "W" - he spent just about 1/4 of his term "clearing brush" from the "ranch" - yeah, the "ranch," which is nowhere near the gated community where he now lives.

But then again, if Trumpilthinskin ain't in town, is that a plus for us?

I haven't found a final tally, but with four months left in his second term, Obama had taken 217 vacation days.

Dubya took 533 days off over his two terms.

Bill Clinton only took 174 vacation days.

I have a feeling Drumpf will outpace them all, but I doubt he gets two terms. I doubt he lasts until the end of his first term due to scandal.

The more time Trump spends there the more money the American people have to spend at his property to support a traveling White House, and the more V.I.P.'s will flock there also, spending money in the hopes of some face time with the President. Easy money.

As for vacationing, Trump does that wherever he happens to be. He's not a nose to the grindstone type of guy, he only does what interests him and what he absolutely can not avoid that doesn't interest him. Not to worry with his base though, they thrive on double standards when it comes to what they expect of politicians who mouth the right words for them.

Can you believe those ingrates in South Beach? They wanted President Trump soooo bad, and now that they've got him, they're all grrrr mad! that his visits tie up traffic, close down sections of town, and keep the taco trucks away. Sad!
