Activist idea: Is your congressman dodging town halls?

Why not organize one of your own when your Representative is in the district? Bill it as "A Town Hall for Rep. Chickenshit," publicize it, make sure Rep. Chickenshit (well, use his real name, of course) is invited, and say that it's going to be a meeting for citizens to discuss issues of concern for them. Set up a chair with a nice label for Rep. Chickenshit, have a moderator, a list of issues, and invite the local media.

When Rep. Chickenshit doesn't attend, make sure the local media know that, too.

Four or five of those a year in various venues in Rep. Chickenshit's district should be adequate for most folks to get the measure of Rep. Chickenshit. Who knows, maybe a viable opponent for the next election will emerge?
