Joe Scarborough: Sources Tell Me White House Is Working on Rewriting Travel Ban

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough reported Friday that the Donald Trump White House is working on a revamped travel ban they believe would fare better in federal court.

“Why don’t we start with a little news,” the Morning Joe host said, “that I’ve heard from several sources that the White House is right now working on redrafting an executive order, but want to make sure that it is tight enough to pass.”

Scarborough said that White House lawyers were trying to come up with a version of the travel ban that would live up to the standards laid out by the Ninth Circuit Thursday. “It’s hard to figure out how you pass a court’s test when the court last night ruled as broadly as they did,” he noted.
