I'm no lawyer but this decision ain't about standing or merits: It's about Cheeto's lawlessness.

The a-hole is totally ignorant and an autocrat, thinks he can do anything without limits. That's what it's about.

He could go back and go through the process of rewriting it properly, but he simply can't be wrong about anything, so he's going to keep the order intact and take it to the SC. It's so stupid, but you're right.
