Who can lose the irony of Trumpy's desire to lavish himself in gold drapes, wall borders, chairs, toilets. It's more garish and cheap than regal. He thinks he's so special. But it does all turn to shit and it's happening now. It's poetic and just. Those two qualities aren't often legitimately paired. It works this time.
