1. I was stationed at a very small USAF base in

Turkey in 1967-8. It was on a hill, surrounded by the outskirts of the nearby city. There was a mosque about 100 yards from the window of my barracks room. I heard the Islamic call to prayer five times a day for a year and a half. It bothered me no more than the church bells I heard in my home town in California that pealed the time every hour.

Religion is religion, whatever its name. It's a matter of faith. I don't have any religious faith, but I don't care if others do, nor do I care if they worship on a regular basis. I don't mind church bells or calls to prayer. They simply don't bother me.
