What are the chances that the Muslim ban was a strategic move to avoid retaliation

from the covert operation?

The Muslim ban occurred on Friday. The Covert operation took place the following day. Is Trump going solo, pushing the pieces on the board to suit his impulsive nature like he's been doing in the corporate world?

If so, can there be any better example of why government should not be run like a business? You just don't gamble with people's lives and livelihoods.

1. Good Question

Trump's first military actions are turning out to be anything but successful...it is coming out in the press that there were quite a few civilians lost in that attack, we lost the life of a soldier, many other soldiers seriously wounded, and a very expensive helicopter had to be destroyed after a hard landing. I just wonder how long the Republicans will blindly follow him down the road to hell.

I wonder how many soldiers have to die before they finally recognize that their reasoning is perverted and soulless.

I am a veteran, both my brothers as well, my grandfather was an Air Force Pilot. That said, I would encourage every young person today to think very seriously and very long before volunteering to serve in Trump's military. He keeps talking about rebuilding and enlarging our military...for what purpose, and for what war?

They do stuff without thinking. They are just trying to eradicate Obama's policies as fast as they can without considering the consequences.

when he goes off on his own, we see things like 'bless Ahnuld' prayers at National Prayer Breakfast. Someone, maybe his Machiavelli Bannon, or Putin himself, is pulling these strings, not him.

And to some extent I think the ban was too. They really believe people would be happy with it. Problem is, IMO, Trump's support is much thinner than they think it is.

It had been in planning for months.

Are we under the impression this is the only J-SOC operation we ever ran over there, cause it was trump's 1st?

This was actually an Obama planned operation that was on hold for a moonless night. The operation was driven by the timing of that occurrence, whose first opportunity came after Obamas time. Do not see any related timing with the immigration announcement.
