CNN lost me with this: "Prime-time Justice: Trump puts on a flawless show"

Instead of being REAL and actually reporting on FACT they're kissing Trumps ass so he'll back down.

Actual CNN Headline
"Prime-time Justice: Trump puts on a flawless show"
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/31/politics/donald-trump-supreme-court-announcement/index.html

"Trump materialized at 8:02 pm ET in the cross hall of the White House and took a stately stroll to his podium along a red carpet under a glistening chandelier before summoning the full theatrical power of his office for the first time."

"They did a pretty impressive job rolling out this nomination."- Wolf Blitzer
"This is how it's supposed to be done. This is done to the T. Even more so than we've seen in the past. - Dana Bash CNN

I'm sorry- is this all a "show" to them now?

They have lowered the bar of what's presidential so freeking far, as long as he doesn't vomit on himself, it's a good show. All he did was announce a SC pick - big fucking deal. I was on the phone with my sister (who was dropping my mom off for a early flight) and she said they're trying to get the story OFF the bungled roll out of the Muslim ban.

He called it what it was - a moment that was meant to distract from the bungled Muslim ban rollout....and that it wouldn't work. Good for him.

performance just because he didn't royally fuck up (which I absolutely disagreed with and thought Trump did HORRIBLE and came across as completely ignorant, showing a total lack of in-depth knowledge on the issues).

I mean is this really where we're at now? If Donald Trump can go 10 minutes without doing something incredibly stupid, we start praising him? The bar really couldn't get any lower than this. I'm ashamed.

during the campaign, the media heaped praise on him and gave him millions of dollars of free air time. All while they were demonizing Hillary about some fucking emails.

Corporate media is just as culpable for Cheeto stealing the election as are Comey and Putin.

With Gorsuch and Hardiman, because Gorsuch was in Washington and "Hardiman was seen by a CNN producer driving east in Pittsburgh towards Washington", They re probably embarrassed as hell and trying to make up for it.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/31/politics/gorsuch-supreme-court-hardiman/index.html

You wanted a reality-show presidency, you got one.

The two judges who have been considered the top finalists to be President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court -- Neil Gorsuch and Thomas Hardiman -- are being brought to Washington ahead of tonight's White House announcement, sources tell CNN.

Gorsuch is in Washington, according to one source close to the process. Hardiman was seen by a CNN producer leaving his Pittsburgh neighborhood Tuesday morning and driving east towards Washington.

The Republicans are going to give him a huge tax cut. What else do you need to know. These are not journalist in way shape or form. What they are is overpaid corporate shills. It's not so much that they bend over for the money as that if they didn't have the right views they would never have gotten the job in the first place.

It’s all a distraction from their real bullshit going on behind the scenes.

Although it was hilarious when Dumabass was introducing Gorsuch and he said “I nominate Neil Gorsuch of the United Sates Supreme Court…”

No dumbuck! He’s from the 10th District Court of Appeals and you, Idiot. are nominating him for the USSC.

It s a Shit Show…

Why so many people still cling to CNN and MSNBC. They are crap. They've been crap for a very, very long time.

Haven't watched TV news for ages, and have never missed it.

"objective"...they can't all be like Chris Cuomo unfortunately. Cuomo does an excellent balancing act and often plays the devil's advocate but points out the bullshit very well. Wolf says things all the time I don't like...which I know so it doesn't really bother me I just laugh, SMH or flip the channel.

Regardless I'm thankful the media is there...even if it's not perfect...even though we like some better than others. Without them we would be truly lost I feel.

Also the bar has been set so low for Trashpot if he acts "normal" for more than 5 minutes there are all these cheers....give me a frikkin break.

I take exception with anyone calling CNN FAKE....just playing right into the Trashpot's hands. Seems like it's working with all the media bashing I see from his supporters and his opponents.

The media will fall in line with Trump. By summer they'll be fawning over his every move. He has plants at every news site. Wait until he starts bombing countries, they're going to paint him as the next General Patton.

There is no way out of what's coming. Democracy is dead.

Second, when he was introducing this douche, he said he was a member of the supreme court nominated to serve on the supreme court!????

That's a fuck-up!
