No - his judge(s) could last 40 years! One reason it was such a hot election cause for so many. jmg257 Jan 2017 #3

the SC is it.

Pence would choose someone just as bad.

IN the end, our elected Dems will likely back down on both though, given their desire to "keep that powder dry"
.

His nominee is 49. He could spend the next 25 years screwing us.

Trump is outta there in four years, max; probably less. On the other hand, a Supreme Court justice can't start WWIII or appoint more right-wing justices or issue deranged executive orders. Trump can probably do more damage in a few months than a SC justice can do in an entire career.

who could drop a nuke somewheres or start war with China.

We could wait out until another conservative buzzard drops off the court... maybe even appoint a few more justices to even things out.

But I honestly don't know which I'd pick. Generally I'm a know-it-all type.

But I would choose the Supreme Court vote. That will have an impact for decades. I am trying to hold onto hope that we can limit the damage inflicted by Trump.

Trump is going to destroy the country. The Supreme Court Justice is replacing a conservative so it won't make a huge difference for this appointment. Trump needs to go for the good of the United States. Country first.
