Based on what happened in Dulles I would not at all be surprised if Trump defies federal judges. We are dealing with someone who is truly mad and deranged. What is worse the GOP will do all it can to protect him. Our problem goes beyond Trump and goes to the heart of the GOP itself. It is a renegade and lawless party who has an obsessive thirst for absolute power itself that is more important than the well being of the country itself.
I would bet that Trump is in an uncontrollable rage by now.

(9,350 posts)It has been reported that in response to U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall ruling in Worcester v. Georgia Andrew Jackson said, "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!". According to Wikipedia Jackson's quote is about the fact that the Supreme Court could not force the state of Georgia to enforce the Supreme Court's ruling. However, since Donald Trump claims to be a fan of Andrew Jackson it would not be surprising to see him disregard court rulings.

(28,342 posts)He's obsessed with celebrities and was clearly humiliated that none of stature were willing to show for his inauguration.
He pleaded with his zombies on Twitter & FB to come to his flop on January 20 and had a very serious and very public melt down when his crowds were thinner than your average porn plot.
He spent his first full day in the White House flitting from one TV to the next, enraged as he watched millions of women gather around the world to protest against him, reminding him that he lost the vote by 3 million people to a woman.
He went to the CIA and got called out for spending the whole time cursing the press, rehashing his crowd size, talking about how many Time magazine covers he had been on and dragging flunkies with him to clap and cheer inappropriately in front of the memorial wall.
He continues to rail against the free press as "unfair," complaining that they are not letting him "enjoy" his presidency, complaining that no journalists have yet been fired for criticizing him.
And now he faced protest from his acting attorney general and a growing chorus of voices that include world leaders, global allies and even stalwarts of the Republican party for the sloppy, bungled, amateur-hour rollout of an executive order doomed to fail constitutional muster.
He has been trying for decades to quell the screaming from within the gaping black hole where his soul should be; with money, with women, with layers of cheap faux gilding, with seemingly inexhaustible streams of self-praise and self-promotion. I really think he believed if he won the presidency, everyone would have to respect him. I think he believed after he won, people would finally love him, just like at his rallies, and the screaming from within would finally subside. But of course, it never will, and we will all pay the price for that terrible, unfillable chasm.

This is all so much like Watergate, just happening a lot faster.
