11. I've not held back since the election. Being a pastors son...

...I obviously have many Facebook acquaintances of a Christian background. It's been interesting to watch the change over time in the reactions to what I write. They used to be so bold in their declarations of how they won and I need to get over it. Hardly a peep out of them now.

This isn't the religion I was taught growing up. I'm seeing people in leadership positions write about how those people can just go to other countries. It's really awful and completely against what the Bible has to say regarding strangers in your land.

The current battle is the newly adopted "Obama did it, too" talking point. This is in reference to the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act and is, of course, not even nearly the same thing as an immigration/green card holder ban. They're trying so hard to justify what they're doing by bringing up Obama but it doesn't pass.
