Is there a possibility that there are any republican Congress members would cross the aisle and change their party affiliation to Democrat to try to upset the balance of power?
History would be kind to these statesmen if they did. Statues would be erected and schools would be named for those that were willing to set aside their partisan interests to stop fascism.
Will the media continue to pressure this administration and report what is going on?
This will be their time in history to define their role in our democracy. Awards and accolades await those that are brave enough to tell the truth during these troubled times.
I agree with David Corn's tweet today. LEAK. While you can. You are going to be made irrelevant anyway. Why not be a hero first.
It is a scary time in our country.
We need some heroes and statesmen and Pulitzer Prize winning journalism to help save our republic.

Sometimes they'd run 8 panels and LA would show up. It was consistent. Once in awhile after naming every other city, they'd mention LA, but usually not. I was specifically looking for news about what turned out to be the biggest protest in the US, and hence the world, because I was there. I just thought it was odd.

While tRump distracts every news journalist with his circus act at the top, his KGOP accomplices are rewriting the rules.

They're prepping BLM land to be "disposed of," probably to themselves and those close to them. According to H.R. 5, passed by Republicans on 01/03/17, the use of such lands after they've taken ownership can be strip mined and logged, robbing the landscape for future generations. H.R. 5 is in effect.

Republican Jason Chaffetz then introduced H.R. 621, last Tuesday, which designates 3.3 million acres of public lands to be disposed of. It still is just in Bill stage, but you can see the direction they are going.

7. They don't even have to become Democrats...

Let them declare themselves Independent, and then vote country over party. IE...McCain has more than likely faced his last election, is riding in his last rodeo...it is time for this decorated war hero to join the resistence against Trump's facist dictatorial ways.
