What if . . . .

What if Trump nominated Rudolph Giuliani as AG and he was confirmed as of yesterday?

The protesters would have been attacked by police and/or National Guard and arrested.

That's the way RG rolls.

But correct me if I am wrong someone - An attorney General of the US wouldn't have the power and authority to call the NYPD to do that? Only the ATF maybe? And then for what? Or if perhaps Ghouliani was Governor he could call National Guard?

At times I have despaired of my Governor, but yesterday, he was clearly Mario's son. (I loved Mario, if you couldn't tell.)
