(9 posts)I guess things change over time. My profession was heavy on democrats back in the day, but according to the site linked to in the op, repubs have somehow managed to weasel their way in. And in a really big way. That's too bad.
I wonder if democrats should be looking at ways to bring those lost votes back into the fold. Every vote counts.

(26,877 posts)I'm a software engineer for a medical software company. The programmers and field techs in my company are mostly conservative / libertarian. Tech support people are overwhelmingly liberal. The owners of the company are all Republicans (even though they voted for Obama in 2008, they voted for Romney and Drumpf the last time).

(15,810 posts)I live in a very blue city of a very blue state. I'm an engineer and so are many of my office mates. We have daily early morning political discussions (more like damage reports at this point.)
