When Nixon ("I am not a crook&quot wanted the independent prosecutor Archibald Cox fired (guess he was "too independent" for Nixon's liking) and AG Elliot Richardson and Asst. AG William Ruckelshaus would NOT fire him. He finally got Robert Bork (google "getting borked!&quot to do the dirty and all of that pretty much put down the red carpet for Nixon's "bye-bye" wave from the White House lawn.
The way this weekend is going, I get a feeling that it could be the same thing all over again, only Der Drumpf would probably FLIP US OFF as he's getting has nasty, rotten ASS kicked out of town!
OK, well, at least, here's hoping!!!!

as bad as he was he had integrity and loved his Party. Trump doesn't care about the Repug Party. If they try and take him down - he will take them down with him. Don't hold your breath for impeachment.

I was 23, I think, but I'm not sure. There was a lot of smoke obscuring my vision in those days, so I'm not certain what the the calendar showed.
