i'm sensing a shift in the force.

anybody else?

this airport shit got legs. everybody knows what it is like to get fucked over at the airport. talk about hitting on universal experiences.

the stories coming out there are a horror that most of us have either lived or feared.

time for us to break the silence of our friends.

because with this antiamerican gang of thieves and fascists in power, they're going to need every dime.

I think even my right wing father would approve this time.

My main thread is his Russians connections. You do NOT diminish our Intelligence Agencies.

The NSC must include the DOD Secretary and the DNI. NOT bannon who does knows nothing.

My confidence in the NSC is gone under dRump.

Yet, I fail to hear any voices raised in opposition. Mainly, republican voices. HAVE THE RUPBULICANS sold out.

My cliche repeat, "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely" means to me that everything that we hold near and dear will be thrown out in order to stay in power.

I am a member of the loyal American opposition. Anyone making/doing business with the Russians has to go. After what I've seen, he'll be an easy flip for Putin.

What will happen to the rest of us? Soup kitchens?

Impeachment will damage the party and take Pence with it. Think of what happened to Gerald Ford in 1976 - a good man, not a bad President (R's were different in those days) but voters simply had enough of their party.

Ford was selected out of the House of Representatives by his fellows to fill the vacancy before they began the Watergate Hearings.

This is an important piece of history. VP Agnew entered office along with Pres Nixon, and would have become POTUS in Nixon's place. However, Agnew was revealed to be a petty crook who took payoffs and bribes during his whole political career, even after he became VP. He had to go. The whole orginal 2-man team was revealed to be rotten -- poor Jerry did his duty to the country tho.

The problem with the Pence scenario is that as far as I can tell he has a clean record, legally speaking, no dirt on him. The GOP powers that be seem to like him -- he's one of them, not a fake Republican like Trump, and not insane. The only way the Party goes down with Trump is if first his base wakes up to how Trump is screwing them. If he's just taken out for insanity, his base may still be under the delusion that he and his gang meant them well.

I don't see any good options, unless the removal of Trump also means his top staff (Bannon, Conway, Kushner) gets the boot. Would love to see Pence go. He's a scary theocrat.

Just today am focused on the encouraging news from the airports. The American people are not tsking this lying down, so far.

IRONICALLY, today happens to be a day we celebrate quite the opposite of what Trump's immigration edict represents.

Some of you may know about Fred Korematsu, a Japanese-American interned under the infamous 1942 order by FDR (FDR's low moment) who took his case to the SCOTUS in Korematsu v. United States.

Current POTUS action is reminiscent of this shameful episode in US history.

Go to Korematsu Institute for info. Much to learn. Great people!

She is a German citizen, has visited the USA maybe a hundred times.

The CBP officer, himself an immigrant (something my wife is NOT), said her fingerprints didn't match. Didn't match WHAT? She had the same fingers with her that had been attached to her hands all the previous times she visited the USA.

Still, it took them 45 minutes and three CBP officers to figure that out.
