ACLU celebrates: 'I hope Trump enjoys losing'

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/316716-aclu-celebrates-victory-i-hope-trump-enjoys-losing

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is celebrating after a federal judge ruled in its favor, temporarily halting the removal of refugees and immigrants detained following President Trump's immigration ban.

“I hope Trump enjoys losing. He’s going to lose so much we’re going to get sick and tired of his losing,” ACLU national political director Faiz Shakir told Yahoo News shortly after the decision was announced.

Drives me literally fucking crazy reading all over DU that "the ban has been lifted, hallelujah!"

They are still banned from entering the country (other than some detention facility) indefinitely.

A step in the right direction, but still sucks mightily

A TON MORE.....every thing this orange does WILL NEED LAWERS. it will take a lot of years to get over this huge political mistake, but forever to recover from it, who is the tRump disaster. I cry for this once powerful country. From strength and passion, to compassion, and this FWAKING idiot HAS COMPLETLY DESTROYED THAT.

His M. O. Is to sue or threaten suing to get his way.
Usually he used this against people or companies that couldn't possibly contest him in court.

We'll get this eliminated (which does need to happen), but Trump and his thugs have a "terrorist" attack planned.
After which time he can say, "Now will you listen to me?"
With Trump, we need to keep looking in every direction.

I don't believe though that it will necessarily be a fake one. This kind of thing incites vulnerable minds to retaliate. But it certainly would play right into the hands of this admin. I feel like our country has a lot in common with Turkey right now, just kind of teetering on the brink of losing its status as a democracy and without much more effort could turn theocratic.
