Looking over this thread, it becomes apparent that your "bash the Democratic party" post failed. The Democratic leaders are speaking up. Why don't you join them instead of bashing?

i mean, if one actually cares about this and pays attention to it they would easily have seen there ARE people out there and they could have started a thread on those actual facts about what is going on.

but i really think some enjoy crapping over the party and then acting like they are doing some great heroic act of holding feet to the fire or some shit.

The old guard is proving to be very timid with few exceptions. So far, Jerry Brown is the only leader on the left willing to confront Trump.

My governor has stepped up. We've had several state and local pols at Seatac airport speaking in support of the stay and in opposition to the EO.

Jerry is great, loved him when I lived down in CA and all. But he's not the only one.

Frankly, I'm not too worried about the "old guard." This early part of the Trum admin is giving some Dems a leg up on being the new guard of the Party. As an old fart myself, I welcome it.

President Trump has slammed the door on thousands of people—many of whom are women & children fleeing horrific violence.

98. Trump - Where Are The People Who Want To See My Tax Returns? No One Cares!
Sun Jan 29, 2017, 02:53 AM
Jan 2017

You know, I guess if Trump can't see the millions of people who want him to release his tax returns, then it should be no surprise that regardless of the actions of Democrats, some folks will insist that Democratic leaders are sitting silent in response to Trump's actions.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-trump-tax-returns-20170122-story.html

Kellyanne Conway, a senior aide to President Donald Trump, said Sunday that he has no plans to release his tax returns, a marked shift from Trump's pledge during the campaign to make them public once an audit was completed.

"The White House response is that he's not going to release his tax returns," said Conway, counselor to the president, during an appearance on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos." "We litigated this all through the election.

"People didn't care," Conway added. "They voted for him, and let me make this very clear: Most Americans are -- are very focused on what their tax returns will look like while President Trump is in office, not what his look like."

Presidents are not required to release their tax returns, but presidents dating back to Richard Nixon have routinely voluntarily done so.

While you are calling and writing them about what you want them to do, you might also think of telling them that you will have their backs when they stick their necks out.

Right now, The People are doing a lot of leading. My message to politicians: Join us and we'll have your back.
