get sick and die. OTOH, it does cost money to keep people healthy, regardless of their income.
And that's the reason for the push to repeal the ACA. By doing so, people who already have plenty will have more. The rest of us? Well they don't care about all that. If people who are living on the edge, economically die, it's nothing to the ruling class in this country.
We made an enormous mistake in November. The impact of that has not even begun to become apparent. It's more than worrisome.

(146,317 posts)of how healthcare works on a national basis. Many people have been heard saying that they liked ACA but hated Obamacare. They don't understand. A lot of people who voted for Trump did so because he spoke out against brown people and immigrants. I hate to say that, but I think that won the election for him.
Those same people are going to be up poop street before long when they get sick. Then they'll know.
